Heidelberg Materials is looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk for our Regina, SK operations, reporting to the Operations Analyst.

Primary functions include the matching of purchase orders, packing slips and customer invoices in accordance with the Purchasing Policy. Duties also include the maintenance of the purchase order files, the preparation of purchase order documents from vendor quotes, ensuring that the purchase orders are signed at the appropriate level as well as the scanning of invoices in the Onbase system.

Other duties include timely preparation and administrative work for vehicle licensing and weight permits for the mixer and dump truck fleet and supporting the Accounts Payable Coordinator with the CIS workload.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Responsible for the timely matching of customer invoices, delivery packing slips and purchase orders to ensure that the goods have been properly priced, quantities have been received and the invoice amount is accurate

  • Prepares purchase order documents from vendor quotes for both product lines as directed by the Purchasing Supervisor.

  • Ensures that invoices are coded to the correct cost centers and signed at the appropriate Delegated Authority level.

  • Creates and maintains purchasing records with monthly updates.

  • Ensures that files are up to date and distributes to operations to assist in month end forecasts and accruals.

  • Distributes vehicle registrations and vehicle insurance cards and vehicle weight permits.

  • Scans invoices into the OnBase system for entry into CIS payment and invoice system.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Cross train A/P Coordinator

What We Are Looking For:

  • Computer knowledge including proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Planning and organization skills

  • Min 1 year experience in accounts payable area

  • High School Graduation completion, some college preferred
