Job Description:We are a growing Real Estate Developer and Builder company out of North Vancouver, looking for a Planner to join our team! Job Description &Responsibilities:Gather information and perform due diligence on existing projects, potential acquisitions, and potential dispositions.Oversee and manage land development, redevelopment, and various site acquisitions responsibilities for a number of projects within the PortfolioParticipate in the design development of multiple projects including the preparation of site plans, building plans and typical suite plans while ensuring overall design meets target project objectives.Responsible for executing approved project plans through the coordination of other departments to work together on official plan and re-zoning amendments, site plan approvals for various residential, obtaining of development permits, building permits, etc.Update knowledge to remain current on relevant council meetings, bylaw changes, development and building regulations to understand and assess impact to development projectsParticipate in all aspects of selecting project consultants, building design, permitting and construction;Provide research and information as required for the preparation of financial analyses.Collaborate with other departments to ensure the project progress by schedule and within budgetBe able to travel if required to Vancouver Island and other areas with in BC Required Skills & Qualifications:A degree in a relevant subject such as architecture, engineering, construction management, urban planning, or financeAt least 2 years’ experience in a similar role or field within the Metro Vancouver areaCurrent knowledge of the permits approvals process and existing regulations and bylaws of Metro Vancouver area and Vancouver IslandExcellent research and analytical skills with knowledge of industry trendsAbility to be resourceful, efficient with time and proactive in a fast-paced environmentMust be Self-motivated and possess a high degree of initiative as well as strong interpersonal, critical thinking and analytical skills Job ID: 12497465
