Job Description:Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator Requirements • Educational background in Health & Safety • Knowledge and experience working with and adhering to Federal and BC environmental, health and safety regulations • Good computer skills and use of MS Office Programs • First Aid Level 2 certificate preferred • 2+ years relevant work experience within a manufacturing (Food & Beverage) environment. Experience relevant to this role would include: o Planning and implementing work site & environmental safety training programs for employees, including conducting New Hire Orientation o Planning, developing, implementing and managing EH&S policies and procedures for compliance with required rules and regulations o Planning, developing, implementing and conducting risk assessments o Regular inspections of facilities for identification of hazards, corrective and preventative measures, and conducting follow up to ensure implementation of such measures has been done o Administering Workers Compensation Program, including Injury Management and Return to Work Programs o Conducting investigations and appropriately document accidents and injuries – submitting reports and information as required to appropriate agencies o Identifying potentially hazardous biological/chemical materials, collecting samples for analysis and control o Collecting monthly wastewater samples and reporting to local agency. o Coordinating Joint H&S Committee Meetings Job ID: 36328498
