Inside Sales (3 day weekend every 2 weeks)

Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic person for Inside Sales to focus on new customer growth and customer retention through excellent customer service. A courteous, professional manner with a positive attitude along with creative mind for providing both project solutions and company-minded contributions is best suited for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience in counter sales and/or in an industry-related field. You will report to the Sales Manager.Store hours are Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:300PM. Closed weekends and holidays. Employees may be required to work overtime (rare occasion) or a Saturday (extremely rare occasion). RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Service both commercial and retail customersService walk-in customersPrepare quotations and make follow-up callsInitiate daily B2B sales callsParticipate in weekly sales meetingsProvide technical documents as requestedCommunicate requirements between customers, fabricators, and sub-contractors as neededInventory managementEnter and monitor purchase ordersAct consistent with company standards, culture & best business practices SKILLS & EXPERIENCEHave a strong aptitude for salesMaintain professional manner and appearanceAble to multi-task while paying attention to detailsTechnical and/or industry related experience an assetProduct training providedWHMIS and Dangerous Goods training provided QUALIFICATIONS:18 years of age or olderA valid driver’s license and own vehicleStrong computer skills and math aptitude an assetAbility to read and draw simple line drawings to develop ideasAbility to frequently lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50lbs and may weigh up to 80lbsAbility to speak, read and write in fluent EnglishCompleted High School Diploma COMPENSATION:Competitive wage and performance bonuses.
