Job Description:ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a reputable law firm and located in Surrey Central and transit accessible. They have 6 offices across Canada. Headquarters are in Surrey. They are growing so fast and they are looking to expand their team in Metro Vancouver immediately. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY In office attendance is required and office hours apply (Monday-Friday). Office Administrator is not only handling office tasks but also will be working directly with Lawyers as the administrative team is supporting Lawyers. They have a very tight-knit team and a strong work ethic culture. They are offering a strong leadership, mentoring, and training as they care about their peoples’ personal development. They only promote within the company. ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Office Administrator will report directly to Executive AssistantHandling correspondence between the clients and lawyersOrganizing and scheduling appointments by using an admin softwareHandling administrative and office tasksTravel arrangementsDeveloping and maintaining a filing systemEstablishing and overseeing office proceduresOffice management, ordering office supplies THE REQUIREMENTSOne-year experience in a law firm or legal environmentCompleted degree or diploma, preferably in lawFluent in English and second language is an assetProficient skills with MS Office Suites (Minimum 60 wpm)Detail oriented and strong work ethicMust be able to adapt a fast-changing environment COMPENSATIONAnnual salary $40,000 – $50,000; excellent benefits package effective immediately including dental, vision and RSP Matching. 2 weeks vacation to start with and 5 flex days throughout the year.
