Job Description:Job Summary: The Account Executive attracts, retains, and builds strong relationships with our Private Clients – these are typically high net-worth or leaders with our Commercial clients. A good understanding of Personal Insurance as well as High-Net-Worth insurance markets is required to ensure appropriate insurance coverage is provided. Responsibilities: Providing expert advice, recommendations, and counselling to prospects about their personal insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures.Meeting and/or Exceeding individual sales targets as well as department goals.Preparing documentation for prospects: complete applications for, issue insurance certificates, and set application for processing by internal or external keying team.Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwriters.Resolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanor by leveraging product and service knowledge.Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals.Keeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes.Actively participate in training initiatives. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Strong customer service skills to maintain long-term growth and retention.Exceptional quotation skills for cross-selling, upselling, and remarketing.Detail and goal-oriented, highly motivated, and resourceful to achieve results.Detail and goal-oriented, highly motivated, and resourceful to achieve results.Ability to work collaboratively with others.Adaptable to change.Strong oral and written communications skills.Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Education and/or Experience: 4 or more years of personal lines experience – preferably managing a High-Net-Worth client base.Broad Major Market portal experience – especially with high-end carriers such as Chubb Insurance, Aviva Ovation and Northbridge, GCNA / Intact Prestige.Extensive insurance carrier relationshipsExcellent computer skills expected, and EPIC fluency is an asset. Certifications and/or Licenses: Alberta General Insurance License Level 1 in good standing required; BC would be an asset.Professional insurance designation preferred (such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.)Company Description:Foster Park Brokers Inc. is a truly independent insurance brokerage.
