Job Description:The goal of the Building Maintenance Sales Professional is to develop new and existing customers to ensure they are aware of the complete scope of services the company has to offer. Additionally, assist the project groups with small repair and maintenance renewal opportunities, to allow them to focus on larger projects. The sales professional also identifies, qualifies, and sources out prospective clients from the various business sectors as outlined by the Business Development group within the company. The ideal candidate must have construction experience and knowledge, ideally in roofing. They must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (including cannabis). Create and execute a plan to maintain and foster strong, trusting relationships which could include:1. entertaining customers on a controlled, regular basis2. build loyalty through constant contact3. quoting and timely service to secure recurring revenue* Become a trusted advisor and business partner to operations. Foster a strong relationship with the operations manager, and Project Managers.* Maintain and grow revenues through direct and frequent communication with customers, suppliers and manufacturers.* Manage long standing customer relations to motivate customers to advocate referrals.* Focus activity on target customers: Owner Direct, Consultants, Mechanical Contractors and Property Managers.* Research and record all renewal cycles with existing and new customers.* Follow up on all calls and record accordingly in the CSM.* Be aware and informed of all new materials and techniques within the roofing industry.* Collaborate with all business divisions including commercial and industrial.* Analyze and report changing market issues and trends, make recommendations to adjust to these conditions, maintain long term clientele.
