Job Description
C-West Custom Fixtures, a growing company specializing in custom millwork and cabinetry for retail, corporate, institutional, restaurant and commercial projects, is seeking a full time, team oriented, Journeyman Cabinet Maker and 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year apprentices to join our team.

Work Condition and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, manual dexterity, attention to detail, standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 45kg (100lbs)


Completion of high school, completion of college, vocational or technical training.

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc) Cabinetmaker Trade Certification, Cabinetmaker Red Seal Endorsement, WHMIS Certificate


· Must be a team player with the capacity to work under stressful situations

· Work within tight timelines meeting project hours to ensure margins are met

· Keep a safe working environment

· Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications

· Trim, joint and fit parts together

· Set up and operate saws and other wood working machines to cut, shape, and form parts

· Operate pneumatic tools

· Laminate cabinet and furniture components

· Prepare and apply metal laminates

· Leadership to apprentices

· Oral communication

· Working with others

· Problem solving

· Decision making

· Critical thinking

· Job task planning and organizing

Own Tools/Equipment:

Basic hand tools
