Job Description:DevOps Specialist, CoFlow Calgary, AB, Canada This is a full-time, permanent position People are our most valuable asset. CMG is seeking a Development Operations Specialist to join our CoFlow project. CoFlow is a next-generation set of technologies that will make reservoir simulation and production engineering workflows faster, easier, and less error-prone, allowing oil companies to better understand and develop petroleum resources. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the infrastructure and processes utilized by CoFlow developers, QA specialists, and support engineers to efficiently create and deploy high-quality software. This includes responsibility for the source code control, build, and testing software and hardware. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Construct, maintain, and optimize software build systems including automated test processes in both Windows and Linux environmentsManage code repositories using Subversion or similar source control system.Build C++ code using Intel or other compilers on Windows and Linux.Create and manage build/test configurations using TeamCity or other CI/CD platform.Write build/test scripts using Python or similar scripting language.Document processes thoroughly.Show leadership in a service role. In addition, the following will be looked upon favorably:Experience with Visual Studio.Experience with VMware, vSphere or similar software.Experience with InstallShield or similar software for creating installation packages.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education A Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. ExperienceA minimum of five years experience in development operations (DevOps) environment.Experience with engineering software applications is highly desired.
