APS of Calgary is hosting a virtual hiring fair on May 5, 2021. They are looking for several pallet repair workers for their 10 Smed Lane, SE, Calgary location. During the event there will be a short presentation about the company followed by individual prescreens with the recruitment team. To register copy/paste this link:

Job Responsibilities:
• visually inspects pallets for rough edges, surface nicks, dents, nail holes, cracks, and broken boards
• remove broken boards and replaced as needed
• pound protruding nails into wood block and/or remove nails with crowbar or hammer
• use a jigsaw to cut or remove old, bent broken nails
• cut out damaged or defective boards or blocks
• repair pallets with boards using a hammer, nails, and/or air hammer

• experience with various hand tools – nail guns, saws, grinders, etc.
• experience working in a fast -paced environment meeting with shifting priorities
• ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• physical strength and endurance to be on your feet the whole shift
• good hand-eye coordination
• hardworking and reliable
• Access to reliable transportation is an asset

• operating hand tools: 1 year (Preferred)
• manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift Schedules:
Weekend – Friday-Saturday-Sunday @ 6:00am to 4:30pm
AM Shift – Monday to Thursday @ 5:00am to 3:30pm
PM Shift – Monday to Thursday @ 4:00pm to 2:30am

Schedule: 10-hour shifts
