The Role To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager, Micro Services. This is a Payroll Employee – Permanent role in our Canada – Calgary – Kensington Crescent NW office. As a Product Manager, you will be working with the Director, Product Management, the CTO, the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) team, Development, Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, and Sales, to deliver value by defining, managing and commercializing a suite of micro-services. You are the consummate team player, adept at managing relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a variety of organizational functions. You will flow between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day project execution and between business level prioritization and deep technical discussions with Development. You will set and achieve ambitious goals on growth, adoption, and engagement, helping the company both define and achieve its success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Act as the “messenger of the market” from the outside-in to the rest of the organizationDevelop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and potential consumers of the micro-services to understand their business imperatives and technical direction and challenges to find opportunities to grow our micro-services platformAttend conferences and tradeshows both nationally and internationallyDefine high-level strategy and roadmap for micro-services, and present to leadership balancing long-term product and partner strategy and shorter-term market needs.Develop and maintain business proposals that make a compelling case for continued investment into the micro-services.Identify key success metrics for micro-services and take ownership for evangelizing the vision with all stakeholders Launch and commercialize the micro-services to enable cross-functional teams to meet and exceed segment, regional and corporate goals.Deliver new versions of the micro-services with additional functionality and full documentation.Define formal versioning of the micro-services and process for communicating changes internally to all relevant stakeholders and to partners and customersWork with Marketing and other appropriate groups on the go to market messaging and activities In order to be successful in this role, you should have: 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS cloud-based software companyStrong technical background, experienced as a Product Manager bringing API’s and micro-service functionality to marketExperience in innovative technology a plusStrong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable informationExperience with best practice agile scrum development and lean start-up principles a plusStrong negotiation and leadership skillsStrong relationship development and presentational skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detailMethodical and balanced approach to managingMotivated team player with an “end result” focusCurious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and usersProduct management certification a plus Inclusion + Diversity In addition to being dedicated to building a workforce that reflects diverse talent, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible experience.
