Driver – Microbulk (Full Time – Class 1)

Job Description:Primary Purpose This position is accountable for the safe delivery of liquid CO2, Argon and Nitrogen at customer sites with microbulk installations. This position is based in Edmonton and operates Monday to Friday with 5 x 8 hrs shifts. Key AccountabilitiesDelivery of microbulk products to scheduled various customers across Edmonton and Northern Alberta via a single axle, tandem and Class 1 tankersComplete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reportsComplete monthly credit card expense reconciliationsComplete site reviews to identify potential equipment repairs or site access issues at customer locationsAbility to work Overtime when requiredFollow all safety protocolOther duties as assigned by the manager All employees of Linde Canada Inc. are expected to follow Company and departmental safety policies, procedures and work practices at all times. Required Qualifications Education:High school graduate or equivalent experience Professional Experience:Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver’s License (Class 1 with Q endorsement)Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as requiredTransportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) trainingStrong aptitude for delivery technology (handheld computers, E-Logs)Knowledge of vehicle maintenanceSafety first mentality Other Considerations:Mechanical aptitude- Knowledge of compressed gases and the safe handling of gasesAvailable to work overtime and stay out of town in hotels when requiredCryogenic gas knowledge/experienceCompany Description:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2020 sales of $27 billion (€24 billion).
