Heavy Duty Mechanic in BURNABY, British Columbia

Aerotek is hiring heavy duty mechanics in Burnaby!

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Wage: $40-45+/hour

Location: Burnaby

We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join a service & repair team in Burnaby. They will be doing maintenance and repairs on large service truck modules, vacuum and airflow systems, water systems, & hydraulic systems.

The mechanic will be taking work under specific orders and time frames, within a team of 4 other technicians.

MUST HAVES

1) Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic OR Red Seal Commercial Transport Mechanic (open to 3rd or 4th year depending on their exposure to the scope of work)

2) 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting electrical components

3) Possess their own tools

4) Must be able to read and write English (to document work and use computer)

5) Read electrical and hydraulic schematics
