OUR CLIENT OPENS A NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUOur client, a successful manufacturer with an international customer base, requires an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide leadership and direction for all human resources policies, and responsibility for the facilitation of employee /management relations in this fast paced environment (approx.200 employees). The human resources manager will administer all employee benefits, WSIB claims management and coordinate all facets of the performance management system plus evaluations ,manage and direct the Health and Safety program ,coordinate payroll for hourly and salaried ,assist in planning and development of new policies and strategy with corporate while maintaining autonomy at division site, maintain /upgrade employee absenteeism and back to work programs while maintaining the existing strong employee/management relationship of cooperation. In addition, lead the recruitment program for all levels of staff and management ,maintain compliance for all employee legislation and lead the efforts for continuous improvement processes in human resources and potential areas of improvement in all areas of the division.Requirements:Post secondary education; proven human resources management in manufacturing or automotive environment(5-10 years), track record of success ,project management and problem resolution in related environments, knowledge of all pertinent legislation etc. and strong interpersonal skills set to interface from the shop floor to the corporate office. Communication and cooperation are keys to this environment.
