Job Description:LegacyX is a boutique software development company located in St. Albert, Alberta. We have been in existence for 10 years and have grown to 17 employees with established client contracts that support a strong balance sheet. In the beginning our focus was on rescuing organizations with legacy software. Over the past decade we have evolved to now deliver on business automation projects and creation of SaaS solutions to address the business needs of our growing North American client base. We work very closely with our customers in an agile way, to help them overcome challenges caused by their existing legacy systems and construct new modern solutions to address those challenges. It’s not unusual for us to reverse engineer existing proprietary systems while maintaining the current operation to ensure the continuity of their business. We are poised for significant growth and we are looking for enthusiastic, energized team members that will take on the new challenges our clients present. Currently. LegacyX is seeking Inside Sales reps to add to our growing team. Our dream candidate has had sales experience in IT or software applications. They are very comfortable making cold calls in an effort to uncover business challenges that we can address. Possessing strong business acumen they can carry on conversations with senior level contacts within a small to medium business setting. They possess an innate skill of asking questions and active listening to satisfy their curiosity of how the business works now and how we might improve it. Creating and maintaining business relationships comes naturally for this individual with little effort. They thrive for the excitement of the pursuit and a satisfied client. Responsibilities Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads. Understanding customer needs and identifying sales opportunities. Answering potential customer questions and sending out additional information. Following up on target clients regularly to create/sustain a relationship in an effort to uncover new business. Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services. Keeping up with product and service information. Staying informed about competing products and services. Creating and maintaining our CRM database of current and potential customers. Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Attaining prescribed targets relative to lead generation and closed sales. Research accounts, identify key players and execute industry specific call plans. Attributes Proven inside sales experience in an outbound call center or related sales position. Background in IT and or application sales. Excellent customer service skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Track record of over-achieving quota. Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong listening and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Why Join the LegacyX Team?
