Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Mechanic

Classification:Full Time

Location: Northern Alberta IV Operations

Reports to: PM Coordinator


Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
Ensure daily communication as needed
Ensure proper Maintenance and service furnaces
Repair/replace furnaces as required
Exhaust fan repair and service
New capital refrigeration installations
Ensure proper maintenance and service on MUA, rooftop and refrigeration units
Maintain proper records of inspections
Complete all required paperwork for the position
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Leader

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Certificate / Red Seal Endorsed as an HVAC Mechanic
3 to 5 years residential / commercial experience required

Technical Requirements:

Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
Valid Drivers license required
Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

Ensure have all tool on the tool list prior to end of probationary period
Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment

On call over time required
