Hiring a Service Manager with a Millwright or Machinist Certification

Shop is located in Edmonton.

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm

Saturdays depending on volume of the shop

Overtime paid after 8 hours daily and 44 hours weekly

Description:

Qualified candidates will have hands on trouble shooting experience of Rotating Equipment.

Candidates will be either a Journeyman Millwright or Machinist or a hands on Mechanical Engineer.

You will be working on turbines, motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyor systems, compressors, and other industrial rotating equipment from the Oil and Gas industry as well as the mining industry.

The shop is located in Edmonton.

You will be trouble shooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial Rotating Equipment.

You will be answering calls and emails from customers needing repairs, providing mechanical insight, providing quotes of labour and materials, and lead the hands on repairs with the millwright and machinist team in the shop.

The Successful Candidate Must Have:

1. Experience repairing Rotating Equipment (Gearboxes, Turbines, Motors, Pumps, etc.)

2. Millwright or Machinist (schooling a plus, but not required)

3. Mechanically inclined – able to diagnose and trouble shoot equipment

4. Math skills: ability to quickly and accurately perform different calculations for planning, quotes, and discounts

5. Strong communication skills/Customer Service skills

Required:

PPE: STWB, Hard hat, High-vis vest

Tool belt with basic hand tools
