Job Description:Capital Industrial is looking for someone to fill the role of full time shipper/receiver at the Edmonton branch. If you have 3-5 years of experience and like to stay busy this could be the role for you. Responsibilities:• Able to follow all processes and procedures under COR safety standards• Shipping, receiving and tracking of parts, equipment and documents• Forklift Operations• Maintain a clean, safe & organized work area• Following proper procedures for goods received with damage• Proper completion of incoming & outgoing paperwork• Proper storage of incoming part components • Some yard maintenance; such as ensuring walkways and loading dock is clear of ice & snow. Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience in shipping and receiving • Good written and oral communication skills• Previous experience doing repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads & working in a physically demanding environment • Able to lift up to 50lbs safely• Forklift certification • Material Handling parts knowledge will be an asset • MS word, Excel and Outlook proficiency is required• Good organizational skills and time management skills• Ability to multitask• Customer Service skills Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30.
