What will you do:

As an Accounting Professional, you will monitor general accounting practices, developing and maintaining internal accounting controls, and closing month-end and year-end financials. The Accounting professional support Accounting and finance operations team to ensure the company’s financial records are in accordance with GAAP, corporate policies, and applicable government regulations. This position has a great potential for growth in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with finance team in daily management of accounting department, including resolving accounting issues, ad-hoc reports for management, and specific accounting projects.

• Ensure a timely and accurate monthly general ledger close, review reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements for both management reporting and tax reporting purposes.

• Hands-on position, including journal entry preparation, account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as well as review of same

• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, collection, sales tax, certain aspects of payroll, treasury and GBS.

• Maintain Chart of Accounts, master data and analyze intercompany transactions charges.

• Monitor and analyze department workflow to develop and implement more efficient procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation. Suggest thoughtful, scalable approaches to reducing costs, streamlining processes.

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving internal controls.

• Special projects, analyses and other accounting tasks as assigned.

What will you need to Succeed:

• Bs/BA degree in accounting from accredited institution

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in across accounting roles

• Experience in reporting and controlling

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices

• Knowledge of Intercompany accounting

• SaaS business basic knowledge is preferred

• Advance Microsoft Office skills

• ERP experience with SAP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)

• Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time, whether working independently or as part of a team

• Ability to maintain high energy, commitment, open and honest detail orientation.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and in a diverse environment.
