Direct Hire Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor in Brampton, Ontario

A client I am currently working with, a lead manufacturer in the food industry, is looking for a Production Supervisor for their facility in Orangeville, ON

Must Haves

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor

  • Experience in food manufacturing

  • Ability to manage 30-40 people

Job Duties

  • Ensures the safe, efficient and effective use of the workforce, equipment and material resources

  • Provides leadership, direction, guidance, supervision, evaluation, motivation and training of production employees

  • Schedules equipment and personnel to ensure production requirements/targets are met on a timely basis

  • Effectively uses operational data daily to measure and communicate trends

  • Ensures safe conditions at all times; takes appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees

  • Responsible for personnel management including completing interviews, and performance and disciplinary conversations

  • Comply, communicate and ensure compliance of team with all policies and procedures

  • Comply, communicate and ensure compliance of team with all Health and Safety, and Food Safety and Quality regulations

  • Builds and maintains effective internal and external relationships and other duties as required

  • Afternoon Shift

  • 2:15pm – 11:15pm
