Job Summary:

As part of the Front Desk team, the Front Desk Associate provides the highest level of Owner and Guest service at every point of contact through the use of communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, ensuring our Owner and Guests receive an extraordinary Owner and vacation experience.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.52 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

  • Skill Level: Entry

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the central hub of communication and information for all departments.

  • Ensures all Owners and Guests are welcomed and registered, that all payments have been received, and security deposits have been taken.

  • Being a host, standing at a computer, providing information for full shift.

  • Assisting guests with making online reservations (activities, transportation, and flight check-ins).

  • Provides Switchboard services for the 3 hotels and numerous departments, forwarding calls as appropriate.

  • Liaises with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Owner services, and other departments.

  • Performs cash handling duties, as well as processing of credit card transactions.

  • Is trained in the Night Audit procedure to be on-call back up for nights.

  • Sets up guest folios correctly with payment, parking charges, inventory and additional guests.

  • Checks arrival reports for full payment, guest requests and room assignments.

  • Creates registration cards with appropriate information including but not limited to owner clean fees, additional guests, welcome messages, payment instructions etc.

  • Codes keys for guest and owner stays with correct guest areas, room number and length of stay, ensuring not to deactivate other keys while in use.

  • Encourages additional revenue by selling last minute rooms to walk up business.
