Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Strategy Manager – English Content, in leading strategic initiatives for Bell Media’s English Entertainment brands (Crave, CTV and Bell Media’s Speciality Brands across digital and linear channels) and Original Programming

  • Analysis of deal structure for studio output deals and original programming. Liaise with a variety of departments for research and information critical to drive and support deal strategy.

  • Prepare a variety of presentations and reports that support senior management & executive team with long term strategic planning

  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Strategy Manager, English Content or their delegate

Critical Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Canadian media industry with an understanding about the studio and production landscape, both in Canada and globally

  • Strong in analytics and presentations skills. (High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel is a must)

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and have a structured approach to problem solving

  • Effective project and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently and can work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Outstanding people skills and a strong team player

  • Related post-secondary degree or diploma in business/commerce, or relevant experience, preferred

  • Experience in Business/Corporate Strategy, preferably within media and entertainment sector is an asset
