Position: customer service and technical support advisor
Location: telecommuting for now – company located in downtown Montreal (metro square-victoria)
Salary: $ 42,900 or $ 22 /hrs for a total of 37.5 hours / week
Schedule: Be available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (daytime or evening schedule)

Here is an opportunity not to be missed. We are looking for a specialist customer service and technical support advisor who will be able to answer incoming calls and emails from clients with questions regarding the technology platform used internally by the various brokers.
The clients are the brokers attached to this company who have technical questions or requests regarding the IT tool, so it is imperative to be doubly professional since they are internal colleagues across Canada.

Calls will be primarily in English, French is an asset

3 week of training, 1 intensive week and 2 weeks in call listening. Everything is done by teleworking until further notice; via Zoom.

Responsibilities
As a customer service and technical support advisor, you will have to:

– Respond to incoming calls and emails from various brokers with questions regarding the technological platform used internally
– Provide excellent customer service on all calls
– Become an expert with the company’s technological programs
– Take appropriate measures to effectively resolve problems
– Connect and build relationships with existing and new customers and their changing needs
– Efficiently enter data into the company’s software program
– Logging of items and issues in a ticketing system
– Provide e-mail support to customers for configuring email accounts, configuring transfer,
resetting the password and troubleshooting email accounts.
– Solve hardware and software problems remotely and by phone.

Qualifications
– Have 3 to 5 years of call center experience in customer service or sales
– Excellent computer knowledge and skills and willing to provide technical support to different brokers
– Be able to work from home and have the necessary equipment.
– Speaking English is an obligation, French is optional
– Must be comfortable working in a highly structured and measurable goal-oriented environment.
– Sales and / or call center are a definite asset
– Ability to quickly develop a rapport with clients over the phone
– Self-disciplined and motivated
