We provide sales and service to the United States and Canada and aggressively seek to expand our market presence and visibility. ****We’re looking to hire someone that is bilingual in both Eglish & French**** Job description We’re looking for a technically minded Field Engineer to service our top-of-the-line (SEM) Microscopes. We will provide the right candidate with all of the necessary training to be a successful team member. The Service Engineer will be Canada-based and service our equipment across the country. This position may require some travel to Europe and the US for training. What you bring: You will be responsible for the installation, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, emergency service, technical support, customer training, and any other support associated with the position. • The Field Service Tech will need to work unsupervised, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision and be able to set their schedule. • This individual will be highly organized and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Your background Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or Engineering. Or previous relatable experience. Experience in the service of SEM, TEM, or other electron beam-producing equipment would be an asset. Deep understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and an above-average proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice Bilingual in English and French A valid Canadian driver’s license An automobile in good condition, capable of traveling several hundred KM, when required A personal credit card for company travel A valid US Passport, as well as being able to acquire any needed travel Visas What we offer Competitive Pay All Expenses Paid Laptop Above-average vacation Opportunity to work on top of the line precision equipment Full trainingCompany Description:We’re building innovative technology that powers our customer-first ecosystem.
