In this role as Service Technician, we are looking for a new team member who recognizes the importance in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction through timely equipment service including repairs, planned maintenance, pre-and post-delivery inspections, training, and general customer service as it pertains to equipment service.Highlights of Key Duties/Responsibilities●Onsite repair / In Shop servicing of commercial/industrial floor equipment.● Assistance with equipment demonstrations/rentals required by sales, staff, management, or customers.● Entrepreneurial approach to ensure all service calls for PM, break fix, and emergency repairs are completed in a timely manner.● Accountable for work order flow from quoting/estimate to parts on order and completion of call.● Inventory control, managing OEM parts replacement and equipment.● Responsible for diagnostics, hands on troubleshooting and MFG research/drill down of parts manuals.● Assistance with equipment demonstrations/rentals required by sales, staff, management, or customers.● Execution of Planned Maintenance agreements to reduce customer down time.In our search for an ideal candidate, we are hoping to see some of the following qualifications come through on your resume and/or cover letter:● Commercial level of acquired technical/mechanical knowledge. Automotive technician is preferred.● Knowledge with combustion engines (LPG, Diesel) and electric powered equipment is an asset.● Self starter with advanced organizational skills for work order flow. ● Collaboration with customers to provide recommendations, consult with staff and suppliers in a pleasant and professional manner.● Adept with technology to operate computer, ability to use custom software for parts ordering and wiring schematics.● Knowledge or Training with WHMIS, TDGWe are an equal opportunity employer with the ability to earn above average compensation, as well as opportunities for growth and personal development.
