Job Description:The Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association (SCDA) requires a highly motivated Executive Administrator to join our Compliance Task Force (CTF) office in Saskatoon. Your impact on our organization will be significant in several ways: Clerical: You will maintain front office operations such as answering the phones, greeting office visitors, assisting with CTF inquiries and requests, keeping the office in a neat and presentable manner. You will assist in creating correspondence, photocopying and other clerical duties as requested. Communication: You will be an excellent communicator, regularly talking with members, and assisting with reporting to the Water Security Agency and other agencies as required. Administration: You will organize and ensure our organization’s correspondence and documents are filed in place and up to date. You will ensure that our office and office equipment is maintained, supplied and ready for fellow employees to complete their tasks. Agriculture: You will have a good understanding of agriculture which will further your ability to work with and assist in your communications with our members. Ideally, you will possess technical skills in office administration, document development and customer service. You will be an incredible multitasker and will enjoy wearing many hats as needed in a dynamic work environment. Strong communication, attention to detail and high organizational skills are just some of the requirements for this position. Desired candidates will have a diploma or degree in office administration and a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an administrator. Ongoing professional development will be expected and offered to ensure your success. The Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association is a non-profit membership corporation with 100 Conservation and Development Area Authorities (CDAAs) and 13 Watershed Association Boards (WABs) as part of our membership. Our organization works on behalf of its members to communicate their concerns to both governmental and non-governmental agencies that are interested in the management and protection of water resources. The SCDA takes an active role in establishing a cooperative working relationship with each of these groups. Part of your role will be to work with the CTF Committee established by the SCDA Board and mandated to assist SCDA members in bringing new and existing members into compliance with Saskatchewan’s Agricultural Water Management Strategy (AWMS). Responsibilities:Manage a busy environment, prioritizing work, and directives from multiple sources, i.e. SCDA Board, CTF Committee, Acting Executive Director, Program Manager, Project Coordinator(s), QP Coordinator, and other staffGeneral office and clerical tasks for all aspects of the SCDA and CTFGeneral reception duties including telephone answering, handling of inquiries and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel within the SCDA and CTFInternal and external reporting and database managementGeneral office duties including use and maintenance of office equipment, office supplies and maintenance of electronic and hardcopy dataAssist in the coordination of and attend meetings as required for both internal and external stakeholdersAccurately record and transcribe meeting notesDigital Filing of SCDA and CTF correspondence and documentsEstablish and maintain working relationships with SCDA members and stakeholdersProvide support to co-workersOther duties as requested by the Acting Executive Director and Program ManagerSafety officerGeneral office organization and team approach to general office upkeep.
