Batch Mixer in Etobicoke, Ontario

Description:

My client, a leader in the manufacturing industry for soaps and detergents, is looking for batch mixers/compounders for their busy Etobicoke plant. They are installing new production lines and are looking for those with previous mixing experience to join their team.

Experience Needed:

• 6 months or more of batch mixing experience

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Strong communication skills – written and reading

• Basic math skills

Job Duties

· The batch mixer will be working in the dry powder plant on the second floor ensuring the chemicals/batches are constantly flowing to the production lines.

· Make batches as per formula card using mixing equipment

· Cut and dump bags of powder

· Maintain general cleanliness of the work area

· Adhere to all GMP policies and report all potential safety hazards

· Potentially lift up to 50lbs • Complete the required paperwork

· Other labour duties as needed

Shifts:

Openings are available on the day, afternoon and night shift.

Pay:

$20-$23 based on experience + shift premiums

Location:

Etobicoke – Between Kipling and Islington, South of Norseman St – Transit accessible
