Job Description:
To assist a young woman with physical disability to remain independent in her home with tasks of daily living and home management. Working in a supportive way to maintain best quality of life.

Requirements:
– Ability to maintain confidentiality
– Ability to take direction and to accept responsibility in a flexible manner.
– Ability to maintain good communication and cooperation with employer.
– Willing to perform basic household tasks with the possibility of some personal assistance.
-Comfortable and confident with an active dog in the home.
– Dependable, reliable and punctual.
-Active cell phone.
-Up to date criminal and abuse check OR willingness to promptly attain both
-Daytime hours of availability 1-3 times a week. Some flexibility in hours. Typically 4-8hrs. Shorter shifts are possible.
At least 1 commited shift with casual accept or decline and back up opportunities.
-Typical days/hours Monday Wednesday Friday 9-3.
Currently seeking Wednesday assistance & casual.
Statutory holiday work receives time and a half payment if interested.

Assets:
-Experience in helping others in some capacity of independence.
-Positive attitude
-Time management skills
-Health care aid background or the like or natural interest.
-Some experience maintaining a home and or property.
-Capable level of physical fitness/mobility.
-Open to learning new skills.
– Driver’s license and vehicle.
-Best fit likely identifies as female for the nature of the job.
-Common sense, problem solving, decent memory.
-Disability awareness, inclusion, equality and diversity advocacy philosophy.
-Respectful kind manner.
-Cooking skills.
