Power Engineer – 4th Class

Our client is one of the fastest-growing international pharmaceutical companies and is looking for a Building Operator (4th Class Power Engineer) for their manufacturing facility in Steinbach, MB
Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems including but not restricted to steam boilers, hot water boilers, chillers, cooling towers, potable/purified water systems, compressed air, vacuum, dust collection, environmental control chambers, and air handling systems.

 Perform powerhouse equipment repairs including calibrations and preventative maintenance
 Maintain building environmental conditions at required levels within designated controlled areas using BMS (building monitoring system)
 Complete all required safety and operating checks for heating and cooling systems
 Complete associated water testing and safety device testing
 Document all required logs and other documentation electronically
 Provide emergency response services to fire protection/alarm system and boiler operation
 Assist with Production/Packaging equipment repairs as required

 Power Engineer License, Class 4

 Minimum 3 years’ experience in as a 4th Class Power Engineer within a manufacturing environment
 Experience operating, troubleshooting, and calibrating electro-mechanical control systems for building equipment
 Experience with Honeywell EBI software
 Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing
