Servers Needed

• Responsible for the service of meals & beverages to residents and guests
• Dealing with cash purchases
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room and serving area, including, but not limited to; clearing tables, sanitation of tables, cleaning of equipment and service areas, vacuum service areas and staff room
• Prep work in kitchen where assigned (including the handling of foods)
• Washing dishes and all related tasks when assigned.
• Ensure the Food Services Manager or designate is aware of food stuffs and/or supplies that are or may be needed.
• Carry out responsibilities in a professional manner.
• Report to the Food Services Manager or designate regarding any unusual or difficult situations in respect to the Food Services area.
• Give feedback/suggestions
• Attend staff meetings as called upon by the Food Services Manager or Executive Director.
• Communicate resident changes, functions etc with the Dining Room Supervisor using the designated communication book.
• Co-operate with other staff in the delivery of services to residents.
• Represent the organization both formally and informally in a professional manner.
• Carry on other relevant tasks as may occur from time to time as directed by the Food Services Manager or designate or Administrator.
• Food Handlers certificate an asset
