We are currently looking for the following position:


The duties of the Front Desk Personnel include but are not limited to the following:

Greeting and checking in guests upon arrival
Assist guests with completing all paperwork and fishing license documentation
Answering the main switchboard in a polite and professional manner, transferring calls, taking accurate messages
Assist guests with retail purchases
Ensure store and front office are clean, and fully stocked at all times
Maintain accurate guest and staff charge accounts
Perform monthly inventory counts
Assist with guest check outs by recording, reviewing and summarizing guest bills
Assist with preparation of store orders
Able to assist guests with any questions, concerns or issues
Able to be a great source of information regarding the resort and the area
Respond to incoming and outgoing marine radio communications
General office duties as required
Be willing to help in other departments

Key Qualifications:

– Ability to multi task
– Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
– Self-motivated
– Previous experience with cash, debit, charge accounts
– Reliable and punctual
– Ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for 8 hours at a time
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong math skills
– Vibrant and interesting personality, outgoing and enjoys interacting with guests
– Maintains a professional appearance at all times

The candidate must be willing to relocate for the summer (housing and meals provided) and must have superior verbal and written communication skills. Previous customer service and cash-handling experience an asset. This position runs May October.
