Assembler in Kingston, Ontario

Aerotek is now hiring small component assemblers for our medical manufacturing client in Gananoque!

Job Requirements:

• Willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills

• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with smaller components

• Good vision

• Reliable transportation

• Prior production experience is an asset, but food service and production also counts!

You will be responsible for assembling and putting together fetal scalp electrodes – a medical device used to monitor the heartbeats of babies before they are born. Given how tiny these components are, you must be comfortable handling and assembling tiny parts for extended periods of time.

Your main duties include:

• In a sub station, standing/sitting around the production line

• Working in a sterile, clean-room environment

• Performing assembly, adhesions and quality checks

• Working on your sub-assembly component, before it goes to the next station

Job Details:

• Located in Gananoque

• Rotating shifts (NO overnights!)

• Full time – 40 hours/week

• Pay: $19-20 an hour

• No weekends
